If he was alive today he would LOVE the world of today of knitting, sewing, baking and dare I say, yes cake decorating. The world of Interior Design is not just about the big picture but all the little pieces that go into it that make it a home. Timber Turner – my father loved to turn wood and create platters and cheese dishes and very kitsh things I never appreciated at the time ( I was in my very early twenties!) What I do appreciate now in timber are the imperfections. I love these pieces as the form is simple and lets the personality of the timber speak and own the look.
