Is there anything Jamie Durie can’t do? Australia’s favourite landscape designer is known for a lot more than just his green thumb these days. Outdoor furniture, rugs, books, TV shows and international design projects… the list is long.
He has now collaborated with luxury Italian furniture brand, Riva 1920, to produce a capsule collection as part of a larger collection that is available exclusively in Australia at Fanuli.
Fanuli sells a range of luxury Italian furniture brands including Flexform, Kristalia and Roberti Rattan.
Riva 1920’s philosophy is all about embracing the unique and unpredictable nature of wood as well as respecting the environment. Jamie is one of various international designers who have collaborated with the Italian furniture company.
Long recognised as an advocate for environmental sustainability, Jamie said he relished the opportunity to work with recycled materials and the raw natural beauty of materials including wood.
Within his capsule collection Jamie’s pieces focus on the natural wooden grain of reforestation American Walnut and Cedar timbers.

And in typical Italian style, the media launch included a hands-on pasta making class. Damn, I wasn’t able to make it!
