Smell the pages! If you hadn’t noticed it when you first opened the page then take a quick lean to the pages and take a deep breath. Yes that is the smell of the printed page. Now run your hand over the text, flick to the centre of the book and touch the glossy pictures and feel the textural difference. This is what I love.
Now back to the magazine of Monday and it is Habitus.

Grandfather’s house : pge183 The story of how they moved in there from the age of 18 and when it was time to remodel for their own families it was all about keeping the integrity of the home but giving it modern elements for today’s lifestyles. The fact is was a long process to get it right shows what I feel it the change of creating homes to live and grow in rather than a quick turn around to get ‘showpiece’ constructed.
